Fabian Gonell is Senior Vice President, Licensing Strategy and Legal Counsel of Qualcomm's Technology Licensing division, where his responsibilities include developing the Company’s licensing strategy and overseeing the company's compliance with the rules of standards organizations. He has played a major role in structuring and negotiating license agreements with many of Qualcomm’s licensees, He also contributed heavily to the Company’s response to government agencies. Prior to joining Qualcomm, Mr. Gonell was a litigator at Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP in New York, where he represented Qualcomm and other clients in patent and antitrust litigation. He also served as an adjunct professor at the Fordham University School of Law, where he taught courses in interviewing, counseling and negotiation. Mr. Gonell holds a BA in Economics from the City University of New York and a JD from the Fordham University School of Law, where he was Editor-in-Chief of the Fordham Law Review.

Edward Jung co-founded Intellectual Ventures (IV) in 2000 after leaving Microsoft Corp. where he was chief architect and advisor to executive staff. As chief technology officer at IV, Mr. Jung was responsible for setting strategic technology direction and new business models for the company. He is an active co-founder and deeply involved with the company's impact invention units. In 2017 Mr. Jung joined Xinova, an innovation powerhouse that spun out of IV as a wholly independent company, as CEO to help grow the business. Before co-founding IV, Mr. Jung was chief architect and advisor to executive staff at Microsoft Corp. He co-founded many Microsoft teams, including Windows NT, Microsoft Research, mobile and consumer products, and web services. An avid inventor, Mr. Jung holds more than 900 patents worldwide and has more than 500 patent applications pending. His inventions are in the areas of biomedicine, computing, networking, energy and material sciences.

Susan Luan Vice President and the member of the board of directors of Johnson & Johnson Medical (Shanghai) Ltd. responsible for the company's Government Affairs work. Sam Xu is General Manager of Intellectual Property Department of Tencent where he oversees the Company's patent, copyright and trademark practices. Before that, he was legal counsel, leader of intellectual property group, director of intellectual property department, deputy general manager of coporate legal department since he joined Tencent in 2006. He also serves as President of Shenzhen Patent Association and a visiting professor at Center of Competition Law of China University of Political Science and Law. Sam receieved Bachelor of Law and Master of Law from Nankai University and Doctorate of Law from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
